Jane Thompson is an award-winning artist based in Australia who has captivated audiences across Australia and abroad.

"Expressive, gestural and layered, I paint under the influences of our internal and external complexities. Curious and pondering of the human experience my artwork explores the natural and spontaneous elements of our world and how we relate to them over time"

Working predominantly in acrylics, wax pastels, oil sticks and graphite, Jane enjoys creating with fast drying materials as they facilitate the energy and freedom of the moment.

THE STUDIO

Jane's studio at The Grange Bowls Club, (which was originally the groundskeepers shed) is located to the side of the main building behind the blue roller door. There is a café onsite with coffee and light refreshments, amenities including change rooms and the premises are fully licensed.

Jane welcomes you to come and say hi, see what the latest happenings are in the studio are; enquire about classes or paintings or just have a bit of sticky beak.

You will love the peaceful and green surrounds of this beautiful studio location. Come and meet your friends and family for coffee, or a tipple, and enjoy this wonderful art-filled space that Jane is excited to share with you.
