My first night staying in my room within the old church building of La Macina Di San Cresci in Tuscany was very memorable. The night was hot and alive with the sounds of nature, unfamiliar bird calls and strange shadows and trees. Part way through the night a strong wind gusted through the window carrying leaves and scents from the spluttering rain that had begun to fall. When I rose the next morning loose sheets of paper and artist materials were scattered all through the building along with dust and leaves. Nature had entered and rearranged everything in its path.
