An opportunity to paint with Jane working on your own current creative pieces or something completely new. This class is for the less experienced through to the more experienced and can be as guided or non-guided as you like; you will be encouraged to ask lots of questions and be adventurous! Specific skills and techniques will be explored, as well as how to better express your subjects or theme in an abstracted form. Jane will share her knowledge and provide constructive feedback on your work where you will also discuss all things art and life. A specific subject or theme that you would like to explore is recommended.
Please bring your own materials: paper, canvases, brushes, paint, mixing palette (foil or large plastic lid), water dish, paint rags, glazing medium or gloss medium/varnish (for extending the paint), wax pastels, charcoal, notebook and pencil.
- Note there is a café onsite with light refreshments, however if you are participating in a full day course, it is recommended you pack a light lunch.
